Bittersweet Perspective
Honestly, today I was going to complain about finishing our registry, or how hot I’m sure it will be in July, or even how our Minister has decided to not marry us….you know, the little things in wedding planning that you think are a big deal, but really aren’t. Well, other then the Minister part. We’ll need one of those.
But then BAM! Life comes along and smacks you in the face and you realize those things don’t really matter. LIFE is what matters. So rather then bitching and moaning about these stupid little things, you need to just be happy that you’re here to enjoy it, because some people aren’t anymore. They won’t get to know what it’s like to get married. They won’t get to experience having kids or another summer. They won’t get another tomorrow, or even today. We do though, and we need to choose to make the most of it and not worry so much about the little things that don’t really matter or can’t be changed.
So, while you might not see a huge personality change happen in me, hopefully you hear a little less of the complaining and a lot more of looking at the upside. Because who knows how much longer we really have left to enjoy? Might as well make the most of it while we’re here.

You're absolutely right ! Life's too short and we need to enjoy it while we can.... "Life is what happens while we're making plans" - John Lennon
